Need to read the some story and history book.
Hello,
We need your support!
I've recently discovered your website and wanted to share how impressed I am with its relevant content and its extensive following. I'm the Marketing Consultant at Sampsonia Way Magazine sponsored by the nonprofit City of Asylum/Pittsburgh. Sampsonia Way is an online magazine dedicated to celebrating literary free expression and supporting persecuted poets and novelists worldwide. Both your website and our online magazine are working towards the same goals and I think it would be beneficial if we started a relationship between our online publications.
Our upcoming issue is going to focus on Burma and the various issues that face its people. Media is strictly controlled in Burma and we wish to bring attention to those journalists and organizations that risk their lives everyday to bring news from inside Burma's borders. Before this issue is released we've written two blog articles about our current writer-in-residence, Khet Mar. She came to the United States in 2009 to escape persecution in Burma. We ask if you would be so kind as to link to this blog article:
http://www.sampsoniaway.org/blog/2010/06/15/happenings-at-city-of-asylumpittsburgh-an-update-on-khet-mars-new-life/.
When linking to this article could you make the link text say a "new life". Like this: new life
This would greatly help us share our mission with a broader audience and together we can help make a difference that we could not do alone.
We would also appreciate a link to our main page like this: Sampsonia Way Magazine and in return we could link to your website.
Let me know what you think.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi,
You have offered me advice before on how I can marry my Myanmar boyfriend (I am British) I fly to Thailand 29th March and was due to get married in Bangkok but the ageny I was using have just said this to me in an email
'since 2005 they do not issue any documents to allow a legal marriage in Thailand. When asked if we are able to obtain the correct documentation from Myanmar to be stamped in Thailand, he also said they no longer offer this service. Therefore I regret to inform you that unfortunately it is not possible for you to be legally married in Thailand.
However we might have misunderstood (our legal services contacted them again to ensure the right questions were asked), the spoken English of Mr. Winseeaton is understandable, but I am sure if your husband-to-be would call to speak with him in Burmese, he would be able to obtain the most accurate information! The mobile number is: ++66 (0) 87 718 9249.'
Do you know if this is true?
We have had so many problems and I can't believe that we are so close to getting married and now the agency tells me this.
I would be truely grateful for any help you can offer.
Many thanks
Jude Williams

Congratulation on such a wonderful website.
I am hoping you can give me some information on getting married to a Myanmar man who lives in Phuket. I am from Ireland and we plan to marry in Bangkok next year. However, we are finding it very difficult on finding information on documents he will need for us to marry and where he can obtain them.
I know exactly what documents I will need and all the things required for applying for his visa to join me in Ireland, it's just if he needs a certificate of freedom or similar.
Thank you very much for any help or advice you can offer.
