Yesterday, I upgraded to wordpress 2.7. Visitors would not notice a thing but it really is cool for the admin. The new wordpress has a more user friendly layout, althoug a bit confusing at first. It is easier to publish a new post now, and the new collapsable menues are very convenient and more user friendly. And all my old plugins and widgets work well with the new wordpress.
One thing that annoy me though is the overlapping of some elements in the user interface. I am using firefox and some elements overlap. I don’t know if this happens to IE users, but I hope it will be resolved in next version. Apart from this, I am completely happy with my new wordpress upgrade.

I’ve also upgraded to the 2.7 version, but my statpress plugin is not visible in the management console and even not in the plugin page… Tried a reinstall of statpress, but no result. Not showing anywhere… Any ideas?

nevermind..didn’t look very good on the dashboard. It’s there.

I didn’t have this problem. The statpress is still showing in the dashboard, at the lowest button on the left of my dashboard. And not problem with the statpress output, although I cannot use the statpress top posts widget. The problem is that I use a permalink structure (www.bamarlay.com/year/month/post-title) which the stat press does not render properly in pages other than the index page. I tried statpress reloaded but it also doesn’t show the top posts properly. Finally, I have to remove this statpress top posts widget although I still use the stat press statistics widget.
